Maths Problem solving: Term 2 Week 3

Solve both of these mathematical problems.
Remember to show/explain how you worked the answers out by writing it as a comment on this post.
Title them as Problem 1 and Problem 2.

    250-67=183 183-32=151

    Problem 2:
    28-3=25 25-9=16

  2. Problem 1: How I worked it out was I did is I took away the tens then the ones then after I did that I got my answer 161.

  3. Problem 1:First I add 67 and 32 which makes 99 them I take away 99 from 250 which makes 151.

    I took away the 7 from the 60 and the 2 from the
    30 and I + the 60 and 30 and then the 7 and 2 and then i found the answer out from all the plusing and then put those away and found the answer.

    there's 28 children 3 went home sick that =25 and 9 had to see the school nurse so 25 -9 =16

    i used counters to help me take away and then i counted the one left over

  9. problem 2: first I add 9 and 3 which makes 12 then I take 12 away from 28 which makes 16.

  10. Problem 2: First I take away 3 from 28 that = 25 then I take away 9 from 25 that = 16
    So the answer is 16
