Geometry

For the Maths Strand Geometry, we are learning about 2 and 3 dimensional shapes. We are learning to classify shapes and use appropriate mathematical language to describe the shape. We can do this by using such words as vetices, vertex, face, plane, edge, prism, equilateral, isosceles, scalene, sphere.

We recreated some of the shapes we learned about, then using Google Draw labelled the parts with the words we had learned.
Here are some examples of our work.

  4. I like the way you did arrows to the shapes. It reminded me of when I was a joiner and I would always learn about shapes. Maybe next time you could do a video of how you make them.
